" Situated near San Gimignano, Santo Pietro sits on a hilltop immersed in the Tuscan hills and has overlooked the surrounding valley since the 10th century. "

The chapel of Santo Pietro was built in the 10th century along the ancient Francigena roadway. This road is said to have started in Canterbury and permitted the pilgrims to reach Rome.

Over the past 15 years the Mazzoni family (Olga and Ivo, with their children Veronica and Gianni) have dedicated themselves to restoring the farmstead of Santo Pietro to its antique splendor.

The apartments of Santo Pietro: Bellavista, Il Portico and La Capanna, will be your home in Tuscany. From this tranquil farmstead you can easily reach the splendor this marvellous region offers or completely relax in the pool with the beauty of the surrounding nature.

A resting point along this historic path and pilgramage route, the Chapel of Santo Pietro, with its adjacent farmhouse and hay loft, was donated from Conte Ugo to the monastery of Santa Maria a Morrona May 6th, 1109. Today the Chiesetta di Santo Pietro is privately owned by the Mazzoni family.
